This is Jon's second race car that evosport has built, the first being the wide-body e36. With this car Jon wanted to do something a little "different" - and I think we achieved that! We started with an authentic Motorsport Chassis, in fact one that has actually been part of our "family" since new actually - first bought by Brad Otoupalik (evosport racing team Principal) and Valley Collision as a potential World Challenge touring build, then sold to Dale Sievwright as a USTCC car (4 races), then to Jon. The chassis was completely stripped and re-built with the single purpose of "World Domination" as Jon likes to say. The powerplant is a 2.1L I6 M50 motor that was custom built in house to support the big boost from the Turbonetics turbo. The goal is to run up front in BMW CCA as well as give the Porsche's a run at the various POC events we participate in. This motor and turbo combination have made nearly 700 HP (tuned in-house using the latest and greatest AEM EMS) and there is more to spare. With that kind of power, we needed to install Rotora caliper upgrade kits front and rear to slow this massive beast down. Enkei 18x10 race wheels with Yokohama slicks keep the car planted.

BMW e46 M3 Chassis-3.4L S54

This is Carl's first race car, and it started life as a 2002 BMW M3 - fresh from the dealership. This was bought expressly to be a track car and we have been working with Carl and the car since that first day. Truly from mild to wild as this car has transformed into a very potent racecar. Everything this car has been done in house at evosport. Some of the highlights on this car include the AEM EMS, AIM Dash, Rotora Caliper Upgrade Brake kits and the Vorsteiner and evosport CF body panels.

This car is currently under major re-construction. Lent to one of our techs for a racing school, it suffered a front end impact. Due to the damage, we decided to "go crazy" on the car and transform it from the HP class winning car it was to a monster mod car. We started with the chassis by gutting everything and ripping out the old cage to be replaced by our own design and chromalloy construction. We built it to the max of the rules, and tubed and tubbed as much as we could to alter the pick-up points and maximize tire clearance and chassis dynamics (just like motorsport and PTG did with their chassis). We then affixed a full PTG CF widebody kit with our own front race bumper built by MA Shaw. The current powerplant planned is a 3.2L 400+ HP S54 tuned with AEM. However, you never know what might find its way into this car.

This car came to the evosport team when Dale Sievrwright (formerly of Ground Control and Mpact) joined us. It showed up as fairly stock 325i that had competed in a few USTCC events. With a nice cage courtesy of TC Designs, we liked the foundation but realized there was and still is a lot of work needed to make this a competive Mod racecar. We stripped the car down and gave it some new paint as well as a CF hood from Vorsteiner. We then added Rotora Big Brake Kits front and rear. With the brakes and the Moton World Challenge spec dampers, we soon realized that the car stopped and handled as well as any of our competition, but we sorely needed/need more power and better power delivery. The first step was to convert the car from the 325 spec to a 330 spec and we added a proper locking race differential at the same time. Currently the car is going under major weight reduction surgery.

This car was commissioned to be built for CMG (Charity Motorsports Group) to promote and raise funds for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. We were honored to be part of such a very worthwhile cause. Although we had this car planned in our minds for many months, it was litereally an overnight build. We had to wait for GMC and LAF to finalize all the legal and foundational issues and documents before we were given the green light. Once we got that, we had all of a week to get the car ready! Starting Thursday afternoon, the car was stripped and prepped for paint and dropped off Friday. Returning from paint the following Wednesday at 11am, we knew we had till 6-8pm the NEXT day to have it ready for it's debut at Laguna Seca. What can I say about our team - 4 of our crew jumped on the car and basically worked straight through to re-assemble every nut, bolt, body piece, upgrade, etc. 7pm Thursday showed up and this baby was loaded for the track, and did not hick-up once all weekend! What a rush!

Altough this race car was not built completely in house, Ralph Warren has been a long time evosport team driver. As such, Ralph and car owner Scott Carey came to evosport for many of our HP e46 m3 goodies. We started by giving Ralph and Scott our proven "HP" power package. The combination of the AFE intake, evosport header and evosport/Powerchip software (tuned to work together and without cats) works flawlessly and has powered Ralph to a class victory at nearly every race he has competed in. To keep the power in check we worked with Rotora to get this car fitted with the caliper upgrade kits that we are using on all the e46's we race. This car is also using an evosport rear wing and uprights to keep the rear end planted!

This is the second JS car that we have built in house and like the first, it is a race winner. This car came to us as a "JS" car, but we soon found out it was more like a DM car. We found a lightweight flywheel, evo2 cams, ported head, cam gears, big valves, etc. It was truly the "Super-JS" that people laugh about. With all the illegal parts we found, we basicaly ripped the entire car apart and started over. We custom tuned the newly rebuilt JS legal S14 engine on our chassis dyno for the proper combination of power, torque and reliabilty. We have also installed custom valved Bilstein dampers with H&R springs with ST Sway bars aligned to our settings. I think that all of our team drivers have driven this car at one time or another, and universally they all have had a blast and rave about the set-up! Currently we are removing the bolt-in cage that came with the car when we got it and installing an evosport 6pt weld-in cage.
